I am hard to buy for! I admit it. As a health-conscious person, I recognize it’s not easy picking things out for me. That’s why I created this practical gift guide with a list for 10 health-conscious gift ideas – to help you purchase mindful and meaningful gifts for your health-conscious loved ones.

Treats with Functional Benefits

Giving treats for gifts is always a good idea! But it can be hard to figure out the best treat for those that are conscious of what they eat. Functional foods are hot items right now so chocolate, candy or other treats with things like mushrooms and adaptogens are great ideas. A few of my favorites are:

  • The Biker & Baker Granola – Ingredient’s Your Body Will Thank You For! Ok, maybe I’m biased as the owner and recipe maker but I feel like our granola is like none other! We use functional, organic ingredients and have unique flavor combos. Our original is my favorite – it’s alike a healthy chocolate chip cookie in granola form!

Kitchen Tools & Accessories

As a health-conscious person, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping, cooking, and baking homemade everything! Here are things that I truly value in my own kitchen that would make great gifts.

  • Instant Pot – I cannot stress how much I love and use my instant pot. I got it in 2015 and use it almost daily. From food prep, to simple, easy meals – it’s a staple in my kitchen!

  • Food Fermentation Kit – for Sauerkraut, Kimchi and Pickling. Homemade sauerkraut is a true treat and so healthy! This kit has all someone would need to get started.

  • Cast Iron Dutch Oven – for just about everything! From cooking to baking, this is a kitchen essential. I use mine to bake sourdough bread, cook soups and curry and make delicious roasts. This was gifted to me and I have given it as a gift several times.

  • Silicone Baking Mats (silpats) – removes the need for unnecessary oils or cooking sprays and it’s eco-friendly – no more parchment paper. It’s reusable, easy to clean and safe. I use ours when we roast veggies, make kale chips, and bake cookies.

Personal Care Items

Maybe reserve for those you are really close with, but personal care items that are natural, organic, and sustainable can be expensive. Giving these items as a gift can save your recipient money which is a true benefit to such a gift. A few items I’ve actually received as gifts that I love are:

  • Frau Fowler Copper Tongue Scraper – or anything Frau Fowler. Adam and I have been using their tooth powder for over 5 years now and received this tongue scraper as a gift and we love it!

  • Badger Lip Balms are a wonderful gift and stocking stuffer! Badger as a company is amazing and the balms, face oils and lip balms are a staple in our house.

  • Essential Oils can be used in so many ways. I love this Cliganic Organic set – it’s affordable, has a great variety and is multi-use. We use essential oils in baths, homemade cleaning applications, diffusers and more.
